CHINESE TAIPEI, TAIWAN WINS PONY WORLD SERIES

2009 Pony World Series Winner

Chinese Taipei, Taiwan

Chinese Taipei, Taiwan wins over Riverside (Victoria), CA with a score of 12 to 1 in the Pony World Series.

This eliminated Riverside (Victoria), CA from the tournament.

The event was held at Lew Hays Pony Field in Washinton, PA.

Chinese Taipei is the 2009 Pony League World Series Champion. They
defeated Riverside, CA 12-1 in a five-inning ballgame this afternoon.
Chang Yu Cheng and Su Chih Chieh each hit a homerun their second time
around in the fourth inning to secure the win. Lin Ting Chen and Wang Po
Sheng each added a double. Su Chih Chieh ended the contest with two RBI.
D.J. Van Billiard scored Riverside's only run after hitting a double in
the third inning.
