Pony League World Series : Game 15

Game 15 of the Pony League World Series has concluded.  This game was the second of three games today.  The participants were Chinese Taipei, Taiwan and Levittown (Toa Baja), PR.  Final score of the game was Chinese Taipei, Taiwan (8) and Levittown (Toa Baja), PR (3).

GAME RECAP

Chinese Taipei and Puerto Rico will battle it out again tomorrow evening after Puerto Rico fell 8-3 to Chinese Taipei in game 15.
 
Puerto Rico started off with a run in both the first and the second innings by Jose Mercado and Onix Martinez, respectively.
 
Chinese Taipei came alive in the fifth inning scoring three runs and taking the lead. Lin Sheng Chieh, Sen Jung Hung and Wang Wei Kang each crossed the plate once.
 
Chinese Taipei secured the win in the seventh inning by adding an additional five runs. Chang Yu Cheng contributed a double in the seventh inning action.
 
Chinese Taipei and Puerto Rico will face each other again in the first of possibly 2 if-necessary games at Lew Hays Pony Field.
