Pony League World Series : Game 11

Game 11 of the Pony League World Series has concluded.  This game was the second of three games today (although third cancelled because of lack of time because of rain delay in game 10).  The participants were Miami (Tamiami), FL and New Bedford, MA.  Final score of the game was  Miami (Tamiami), FL (6) and New Bedford, MA (3).

This eliminates New Bedford, MA from the Pony League World Series.

Tamiami, FL dominated New Bedford, MA 6-3 to send them packing in game 11 of the Pony League World Series.
 
Tamiami took an early lead, scoring one run in the second inning, and adding another four runs in the third inning. Two of those run were scored on wild pitches, and one on a balk. Anthony Tucker scored on an RBI from Joshua Cedeno.
 
In the sixth inning New Bedford attempted a comeback after a run was scored on an error, and Billy Lessa hit a homerun over right center field to bring home another run and bring the score to 5-3.
 
Dany Andrade brought in the last Tamiami run to secure a 6-3 victory in the seventh inning.
 

The loss knocked New Bedford out of the tournament, and sent Tamiami into battle tomorrow evening at 8:00 pm.

 

Game 12, Washington, PA versus Riverside, CA has been postponed until tomorrow afternoon at 3:00.
