8/9/2009 Pony League World Series : Alumni Picnic  Pony World Series Coverage Sunday, August 9th, 2009 On Sunday afternoon at 3:00pM EST the Pony League World Series "Alumni Picnic" was held at the Elks Pavilion in Washington Park, Washignton PA. This event is held yearly to honor the 50th anniversary winning team in the Pony League World Series. Although no members of the 50th anniversary winning team from Long Beach, CA were able to attend, the event was attended by members of teams that participated in World Series events from around the same period.
